The Fairshare Commitment was
implemented by the Northwest Band Booster Organization in 2004 to
better support the financial needs of the Northwest Band Programs. The
Fairshare Commitment covers basic expenses such as music and show
design, transportation costs, uniform purchases and maintenance, and
instruction. Unfortunately these needs are not funded by your
tax dollars.
- Fundraising will still be necessary as the fairshare payment does not fully fund the
costs of your student’s participation in any of the band programs.
- Fundraising can help pay
your fairshare through the Viking Credits program.
Students will not be issued a
uniform for any band program until the Fairshare Commitment has been
paid or other arrangements are made with Mr. McMath.
