MARCHING UNIFORM/GARMENT BAG TURN-IN
Saturday, May 10 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This will be the only scheduled turn-in date
 

The scheduled turn-in date for marching uniforms is Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the school. This will be the only turn-in date, so if you are unable to come this day, you must get someone else to bring in your uniform with collar, hat, and garment bag. Prior to turn-in, be sure to remove all personal items. All needed repairs, stains or problems should be reported at the time of turn in.


Please read the following instructions for turning in your uniform.
 

  • Uniforms should be dry cleaned at either Best Cleaners located in the Cardinal Crossing Shopping Center on Fleming Rd. or A Cleaner World at 3918 Battleground Ave.  Both of these dry cleaning businesses guarantee their work with a receipt if there is a problem noticed at turn-in.
  • Ask the dry cleaners to give special attention to any stains and point these areas out when you drop off the uniform.
  • Ask the dry cleaners to hang and bag the jacket and pants on separate hangers for storage purposes.
  • Ask for a dated receipt that needs to be turned in with the uniform.  Tape or staple the receipt to the jacket’s cleaning bag. 
  • Collar liners should be removed and washed and bleached at home.  Remember to re-insert the collar liner before turning in the uniform.
  • Seniors should remove all alteration stitching before having the uniform dry cleaned.
  • Report any needed repairs to the uniform at turn-in so repairs can be made before next year’s distribution.  If you can possibly mend seams or sew on snaps yourself, please do so.
  • Return hat inside the hat box.  Remove all personal items from the box.  Report any damaged hats so repairs can be made before next year’s distribution.

If you want your uniform/hat reserved for next year: 

  • Make sure your name is on the hat box.
  • Pin a 3 x 5 card with your name and the number of the jacket on the upper arm near the shoulder of the right sleeve.
  • Pin a 3 x 5 card with your name and the number of the bib pants near a front buckle of the pants and make sure it is hanging toward the outside.

If you are a graduating senior: 

  • Pin a 3 x 5 card with the number of the jacket on the upper arm near the shoulder of the right sleeve. Do not put your name.
  • Pin a 3 x 5 card with the number of the bib pants near a front buckle of the pants and make sure it is hanging toward the outside.  Do not put your name.
  • Please consider donating your shoes and/or gloves if you do not plan to use them in the future.

Garment bags should be cleaned out in both the main compartment and the back pocket.  Wipe down the outside of the garment bag using a spray cleaner, paying special attention to any stubborn, sticky dirt. 

Report any damage to the garment bag at turn-in such as tears in the vinyl or broken zippers so repairs can be made before next year’s distribution.

Uniform jacket - $195

Bib pants - $95

Hat - $35

Garment bag - $22.50

Collar liner - $4
