Next Year's FF Chair will coordinate all
preparations with the help of the FF committee.
You must schedule announcers for the day. You will
be sending out and tracking all information from
competing high schools. Work closely with the Mr.
McMath. Finalize a schedule and send out packets to all competing high school band directors.
Secure keys to the building and stadium the night prior to the festival. |

Coordinate your volunteers for the day. Make sure you've got hand
stamps and ink pads (or wrist bands) |

Collect $1 fee and sort airgrams into envelopes by band. These are good luck announcements for the bands (read by the announcer) as the band takes the field. Student volunteers will bring them up to the Announcer. |

Good voice with a balance of professionalism and light humor needed to read Air Grams, give competition commands and read announcements. |

Solicit all band members for donations of baked items, candy apples, fruit. |

Meet with students in early September. Explain that each section should come up with a theme for their basket and begin
soliciting local businesses for donations. Have all baskets due to you one week prior to the festival. You will purchase baskets, wrap and place a list of
contents on the outside of the package. Purchase a roll of 2 part tickets. Plastic rubbermaid containers with slits should be among the "FF Stuff" in storage. |

Hire 1 or 2 custodians to be on campus for all or part of the day. Know where all the supplies are stored. |

|
Work with FF Committee to provide food. Make sure you have enough paper products, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. |

Secure drivers, trailers, 4 wheelers. Be the lead contact for student/parent volunteers to deal with the flow of equipment and bands to the field. |

Secure lights (Carolina CAT), secure tents, power strips,
extension cords. Plan
decorations for the admission table, registration table, and trophy table. |

Secure flashlights, vests, caution tape. Coordinate volunteers. |

Coordinate the sales of the programs at the admission gates.

Set up a couple of tables at the back entrance (near the middle school)
Keep water jugs filled and hand out cups of water to band students before they enter the field for competition. |
