Winter Percussion Ensemble

Winter Percussion Ensemble ( WPE ) is an ensemble of young men and women who compete in the local Carolina Winter Ensemble Circuit (CWEA) performing on all marching percussion equipment ( drumline ) and front ensemble instruments.
​
This group is audition based and anyone may audition.  It is also open to any Guilford County Schools student in good standing within their districted band program.
​
This ensemble competes at three or four local competitions as well as CWEA Championships.  
​
After a 6 year hiatus, we are thrilled to have WPE back representing our comprehensive band program !
