2025 Band Camp Dates:
Week 1:
Monday, July 28th - Friday, August 1st
Winds & Percussion 8 am - 4 pm
Guard 12 pm - 8 pm
Week 2:
Monday, August 4th - Friday, August 8th
Winds & Percussion 8 am - 4 pm
Guard 8 am - 12 pm / 4 pm - 8 pm
Week 3:
Monday, August 11th - Friday, August 15th
Winds & Percussion 8 am - 4 pm
Guard 8 am - 12 pm / 4 pm- 8 pm

Every student should be getting outside EVERY DAY from now until camp. You must get acclimated to the heat. Go for multiple walks between 8 am - 12 pm. If you are staying inside all day, camp is going to be severely rough on you.

Start NOW getting up at the time you will need to for camp. You must ALSO eat breakfast starting NOW. Do NOT consume ANY dairy products. Trust me on this. You ARE REQUIRED to eat some type of protein and carbohydrate each morning. You need this nourishment before we start getting physical. You are considered a musical ATHLETE and must treat your body accordingly

STOP drinking carbonated drinks NOW. Stop drinking sugar drinks NOW to prep for camp. All of these items DEHYDRATE you and WATER is the only drink allowed at camp. If you feel thirsty - you are already dehydrated.

All of this is said to make sure you are safe, healthy and successful during camp and the season. If you prepare your body over the next 3 weeks, camp will be easier. Promise! Talk to your LT’s if you have any questions. Parents reach out to ‘seasoned’ parents for tips.
