To Foster the Growth of Empathy and Self-Belief through the Creation of Living Art

David Moran is a second-year student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he is double-majoring in Music Education and Percussion Performance, studying under Dr. Eric Willie. He is a native of Mebane, North Carolina, where he attended Eastern Alamance High School, participating in the marching band for all four years, and for two years he served as the percussion captain. While at UNCG, he has been a member of the Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Steelpan Ensemble, performing at various events around campus, while he also regularly performs solo at various local churches. David also recently attended the Northwestern University Percussion Symposium, where he studied with world-renowned percussionists such as She-e Wu, Chris Lamb, Paul Yancich, Marc Damoulakis, and Marcelina Suchocka. Upon graduation, David plans to continue teaching here in North Carolina.
