Kyler Zary

Brass Music / Visual Instructor

Kyler Zary is the Director of Bands at Cornerstone Charter Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he teaches 6th-12th band and elementary general music. Prior to joining Cornerstone, he spent eight years as Director of Bands at Northern Nash High School, where his marching bands earned multiple class championships and grand championships.

 

Mr. Zary holds a Bachelor of Music Education from East Carolina University and recently completed a Master of Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At ECU he was a part of the Marching Pirates, and helped write drill for their halftime shows.

 

In addition to teaching, he serves on the staff of both the East Carolina University and UNCG Summer Music Camps and remains active as trumpet instructor and performer.
